I’m a photographer based in South Elgin, Illinois, but I’m a Chicagoland native through and through. Born and raised in Wheaton, I’ve always loved art—but I wasn’t exactly talented with pencils or paintbrushes. My creative side was all about planning, posing, and finding unique ways to bring out personality in my subjects.

Before I got into photography, I studied cosmetology in Bloomingdale, where I learned the ins and outs of hair, makeup, and skincare. I loved the art of making people feel their best, but I took a different path and spent ten years as a people manager with Panera Bread. From there, I jumped into the corporate world as an Executive Assistant to CEOs, managing the chaos and bringing order to their busy lives. Those years taught me how to work with all kinds of people, and that experience shines through in every session I shoot.

In 2010, my husband and I bought our first home in Carol Stream—and a DSLR camera. That camera became my creative outlet. I started by snapping photos of animals, landscapes, and eventually my kids. When our first child arrived in 2015, I was inspired to capture every moment. Over time, I’ve gone from learning my way around a camera to creating professional-quality photos that clients cherish. My three kids have been my “models” through it all, though they’ll tell you they only do it for the promise of fun, magical composite photos!

Today, I focus on family, lifestyle, corporate headshots, branding, and fine art composite photography, bringing out the best in every subject. I’m honored to serve clients all around South Elgin and the Chicagoland suburbs, including Aurora, Bartlett, Elgin, St. Charles, and Geneva.
